Alberta Artificial Limb
Inc. is dedicated to providing efficient and effective prosthetic
care to the amputees of Calgary and southern Alberta.
AAL staff is working with local health care providers involved in the
treatment and rehabilitation of amputees. We are dedicated to the idea
of being part of a rehabilitation team that provides consistent and reliable
support to the amputee population.
Our clinic is committed to continuing education in the field of prosthetics.
Our prosthetists will attend pertinent courses, seminars and workshops
in prosthetics, ensuring that we are current in the trends and technologies
used to treat today's amputees.
AAL is also devoted to continuing research in the field of prosthetics.
AAL is continuously investigating new techniques and materials and their
applications in prosthetics.

- Custom Fitting:
AAL prosthetists cast and fit a prosthetic interface designed specifically
for each client.
- Fabrication:
AAL staff design and build your prosthesis on site. We will ensure
that your prosthesis suits your abilities and meets your day-to-day
needs.
- Supplies: AAL
offers all supplies and soft goods used with your prosthesis.
- Repairs: AAL
can service and repair your prosthesis as required.
- Consultation:
AAL prosthetists are available for consultation regarding prosthetic
and amputee related issues. You can discuss topics such as the pre
and post amputation process, rehabilitation with your prosthesis,
prosthetic componentry, recreational prostheses, etc.
- Education: The
prosthetists at AAL are also available for educational seminars,
lectures, presentations or one on one discussion regarding prosthetic
technology and services.
